Staff Accountant

Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will be a foundational member of Curvo’s growing finance organization, playing a critical role in establishing scalable accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and improving the systems, processes, and controls needed to support rapid growth.

Reporting to the VP Finance, this individual will oversee daily accounting functions (AR, billing), lead the month-end close process, support ASC 606 revenue recognition, and enhance financial controls across the business.

This is an ideal role for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in high-growth environments. The ideal candidate is ready and able to share ideas, implement new processes, and build a best-in-class accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting operations ensuring adherence to US GAAP while shaping internal controls and process workflows.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate transaction recording, account classifications, and reconciliations.
  • Own AR sub-ledger integrity, reconciliations, cash applications, and aging review processes.
  • Implement revenue recognition processes including review of customer contracts and billing schedules to ensure compliance; apply ASC 606 across SaaS, DaaS, and service revenue streams.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations to maintain accurate billing, deferred revenue schedules, and revenue reporting.
  • Own key components of the monthly and annual close, including journal entries, reconciliations, revenue schedules, and flux analyses.
  • Support consolidated financial reporting and provide accurate, timely insights to leadership.
  • Prepare documentation and schedules supporting internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of scalable accounting policies, processes, and internal controls with an emphasis on balancing speed and accuracy using automation effectively.
  • Support financial systems architecture, post-merger financial integration activities, external audits, and application of all GAAP principles; ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within SaaS, healthcare analytics, or high-growth technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and ASC 606.
  • Experience with AR, billing, and month-end close ownership.
  • High proficiency in Excel with hands-on experience in modern financial systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Bill.com.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.

Position Summary
The Curvo Sales Account Executive (AE) drives net-new enterprise sales across hospitals and Regional Purchasing Collaboratives and supports revenue growth through account expansion. The AE shapes account strategy, leads prospects through complex evaluations, and aligns Curvo’s supply chain, pharmacy, and clinical analytics solutions with each organization’s priorities. Success requires a deep understanding of healthcare supply chain operations, provider challenges, and the ability to engage stakeholders, including executive leaders, in clear, outcome-driven conversations.
