David Ricker - Chairman & CEO

David Ricker is BroadJump LLC’s Chairman and CEO. David’s career in the healthcare industry spans three decades, having served most recently as President and CEO of Broadlane, one of the nation’s largest group purchase organizations. Under his leadership, the company’s explosive growth produced a 480% increase in shareholder value growing EBITDA from a loss of $20 million to earnings of $45 million at the time of its sale to MedAssets for $850 million.

As an industry leader, David is widely recognized for conceiving innovative services that change the healthcare supply chain landscape. He was elected Chairman of the Federation of the American Hospital Exhibitor Committee, and is a frequently sought speaker at industry events. David has served on the Advisory Board of Rendina Companies since August of 2010.

Dan DeTorrice - President & Chief Information Officer

Dan heads up technology as President and CIO, and serves on BroadJump, LLC’s Board of Managers. He has more than 20 years of experience as an executive in the healthcare and technology industries. Most recently, Dan spent five years as the Vice President of National Accounts for Medline Industries. While at Medline, he grew his business line to over $500 million in annual sales and successfully negotiated, secured and managed more than 80 contracts with purchasing organizations such as MedAssets, Kaiser-Permanente, and Ascension Health. Prior to Medline, Dan was co-founder and Senior Vice President of Business Information Services at Broadlane. Under his direction, Broadlane created BroadLink, a dynamic Business to Business e-commerce exchange in healthcare, as well as number of ground breaking technologies that included automated financial and contract management functions.

Before Broadlane, Dan co-founded a technology company called InetSolutions, which was a pioneer in the field of Internet-based software development. InetSolutions built custom software solutions for healthcare companies that included Tenet Healthcare and Premier, a national group purchasing organization. Prior to starting InetSolutions, Dan led the Data Solution division for Premier.

Dan is married and has two children in high school. He enjoys fishing, playing basketball, traveling with his family and supporting his children at their sporting events.

Greg Corban - Chief Operating Officer

Greg has spent his 19-year career in various healthcare supply chain roles. Before joining BroadJump, LLC, he served as the Director of Operations for MedAssets, a healthcare supply chain company, Capital and Construction Program. He was charged with reducing the hospital’s overall new and remodel construction costs through negotiations and contracting, as well as integrating new technology platforms with clients to track and identify savings opportunities.

Previously, Greg spent time as the Corporate Accounts Manager for Skytron, a major manufacturer of Surgical and Medical Capital Equipment, responsible for total solution sales to large multi-hospital networks and healthcare group purchasing organizations. In earlier roles, he spent several years with Broadlane, a group purchasing organization, working in several supply chain functions; his last major role was helping with the design and implementation of Broadlane’s Procurement Solution suite of tools and services. He started his career at Allegiance Healthcare and was part of their integration with Cardinal Health in 1999.

Greg is an avid sports fan and enjoys attending Denver Broncos and Texas Rangers games. He is an accomplished runner and has competed in two marathons and a triathlon. In his free time, Greg enjoys traveling, going to outdoor concert venues, and running with his Border Collie, Denver Bronco.

Cheryl Weatherford - Executive Vice President, Client Management

Cheryl served in various healthcare client management and leadership roles for more than 20 years prior to joining BroadJump, LLC. Most recently, she was Regional Vice President of Client Management over Enterprise Accounts at MedAssets, a healthcare performance improvement company. Previously, she served as a regional Vice President of Client Management at Broadlane, a group purchasing organization. In earlier roles, she served as Director of Client Management for Broadlane and Director of Customer Support at Brim Healthcare Inc.

Cheryl previously served on the Acute Long Term Hospital Association (ALTHA), the Allied Council. She has presented on several occasions to Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) membership on pricing transparency in the healthcare supply chain, and she co-presented a case study on “Selecting Your Group Purchasing Organization."

Cheryl has two children, a daughter who has graduated from college that also works in healthcare, and a son who is in high school. In her free time she enjoys genealogy, watching her son play sports, as well as attending every home University of Oregon football game.

Janet served in various healthcare business development, operations and marketing capacities for 18 years prior to joining BroadJump, LLC. Most recently, she was the Senior Vice President of Rendina Companies, a healthcare real estate development firm. Previously, she served as President and Principal of OnPoint Strategies, LLC, a healthcare business development and marketing firm, providing consultative services to clients in the healthcare provider and medical commercial real estate industries.

In earlier roles, Janet served as Vice President of Development for Alliance Surgery, Inc., Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development for HealthSouth Corporation and in various management positions for Tenet Healthcare, both in the hospital setting and home office.

Janet is a retired professional ballerina who enjoys traveling to exotic locales and snow skiing on warm days.

Jessica Daw Fuhrman - FACHE, Vice President, Business Development

Jessica brings a background of business development and marketing in healthcare, real estate and IT solutions. Previously, she served as a Director of regional business development at Hammes Company, a healthcare consulting firm. Prior to that, she worked in product marketing at Sabre Holdings. Jessica also served as the President of Stanton Street Technology Group, a privately held web site development company, and as a Systems Analyst for Security Capital Group, a former real estate investment trust company.

Jessica is married and relishes being a mom to her first daughter. She is passionate about music as an avid music appreciator and novice guitarist and vocalist in a band. She enjoys hosting and planning celebrations for friends and family.

Jim Webb - Executive Vice President, Business Development

Jim has served in a variety of roles during his 30-year career in healthcare. Prior to joining BroadJump, LLC, he was Senior Vice President of Operations for Provista, a $9 billion Vizient (formerly VHA) company, a group purchasing organization. Before that, he ran a successful consulting practice and spent the majority of his time helping to launch two reference laboratory companies, med fusion and ClearPoint Diagnostic Laboratories, where he worked as a subject matter expert concerning sales and marketing, including Web site development. Jim also worked at Broadlane, a group purchasing organization, where he held numerous positions including Senior Vice President of Marketing; Senior Vice President of Business Development; and Vice President of Medical, Surgical and Diversity Contracting. Prior to coming to Broadlane, Jim worked his way up the corporate ladder at Johnson & Johnson, beginning as a sales representative and holding 12 different positions of increasing responsibility during his 16-year tenure.

Prior to entering the healthcare field, Jim interned as the Assistant Press Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor of Georgia. His work in journalism and public relations has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines. Jim has also been a featured speaker at numerous healthcare meetings and conventions.

Jim is the father of two young men and a young lady. In his free time, he is an accomplished guitarist and plays daily. When he gets the chance, he loves to ride his motorcycle.

Joe Fulmer - Vice President, Client Management

Prior to joining BroadJump, LLC, Joe led supply chain operations for Franklin Community Health Network in Maine, driving enduring bottom line improvement through process optimization. Joe leveraged the supply chain as a conduit to improve the quality and cost of patient outcomes through physician and clinician engagement, strategic value analysis and revenue management. Previously, he managed manufacturing supply chain operations with Scott Paper Company and Kimberly Clark Corporation.

Joe has four children and enjoys competitive swimming, biking, golf and fly-fishing in his free time.

Joel DeNecochea - Executive Vice President, Business Development

Joel served in various defense industry business development, federal contracting, operations and marketing capacities for 15 years prior to joining BroadJump, LLC. More recently, as Founder and CEO of Devlon Enterprises, Inc., a defense contracting firm, Joel specializes in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) lifecycle support providing consultative services to clients in the defense industries. Programs Joel has consulted with include Advance Tomahawk Weapons System (ATTWCS/TTWCS), Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Defense System (IBMDS), AEGIS Weapon Systems (AGS), Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Fleet Intelligence Training Command (FITC), and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC).

Kyle Gaspar - FACHE, Executive Vice President, Business Development

Kyle has been advancing healthcare leading practices, financial improvement, and cost reduction activities for more than 25 years. Prior to BroadJump, LLC, Kyle served as Vice President, Vizient (formerly VHA), where she was the senior management liaison to more than 45 healthcare organizations. In this role, she led a team focused on business and network growth, information exchange, service/product launches, performance/outcomes improvement programs, as well as relationship management.

Other career positions included serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the University of Texas - M.D. Anderson Cancer Center’s Outreach and Physician Network; advancing the West Coast regional business growth of a national alliance of hospitals; as well as leading the business development activities for a multi-hospital Catholic health care system based in Chicago.

Her experience also includes healthcare consulting, as well as leading financial/quality analytics, new business development and operational improvement activities for a large academic hospital system in Michigan.

Kyle is an avid fan of good weather and landscape; she enjoys running, swimming, sailing, and golf.

Sara Crittenden - Vice President, Client Management

Sara has more than 15 years of healthcare experience, specializing in group purchasing organizations/supply chain, hospital operations, and temporary labor management. Most recently, Sara served as a Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), in the Healthcare Operations Advisory practice. During her tenure at PwC, Sara led complex engagements focused on helping health systems improve labor and productivity, revenue cycle functions, clinical labor contract negotiations, policy and procedure standardization, and large health system transformations.

Previously, Sara was a Senior Market Manager of Workforce Management Solutions at Broadlane and MedAssets. She managed an annual $30M contract labor portfolio and was responsible for labor contract negotiations, new client implementations, and business development for Colorado and the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining the Workforce Management division of Broadlane, Sara was the Director of Operations for Broadlane’s $9 billion group purchasing organization portfolio. She developed Broadlane’s key supplier program and managed day-to-day operations for Broadlane’s supply chain contracting department. Sara has also held various account management positions working with several of Broadlane’s largest outsourced clients based in Oakland, CA and Dallas, TX. Sara began her healthcare career as a college intern with Tenet Healthcare.

Sara is married and enjoys traveling, skiing, cooking, and hiking with her Golden Retriever, Jax.

Steve Pfeil - Executive Vice President, Business Development

Steve has more than 30 years experience working within the hospital supply chain, manufacturing, distribution and group purchasing organizations. He is a co-founder of Broadlane, a national group purchasing organization, which was sold to MedAssets in November 2010. At Broadlane, Steve was responsible for Client Services, and the introduction of new services to Broadlane's client base. Prior to Broadlane, Steve was a Vice President with Tenet Healthcare, directing the group purchasing organization, BuyPower, which was the foundation of Broadlane.

Steve is an avid angler, sailor and golfer. He also enjoys volunteering at the Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Kerry Gordon - Vice President, Client Management

Kerry has nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, focusing on supply chain, account management, and operations.

Prior to joining BroadJump, LLC, Kerry worked for MedAssets (now Vizient) as Senior Director of Operations for their second largest account with more than $1.6B in supply spend and comprising 51 acute care hospitals and 43 ambulatory surgery centers. She led key projects including development of the client’s supply chain budget, tracking savings and key metrics, analytics, contract enrollment, and clinical service line support.

Previously, Kerry worked for the group purchasing organization Broadlane in a variety of roles over a period of 10 years. As Marketing Manager, she was responsible for the company’s presence at industry trade shows, and then served as the dedicated account representative for large health systems and stand-alone hospitals with approximately $450M in total supply spend. Kerry led the company’s help desk where she developed an extensive on-boarding process for new clients. She also managed day-to-day operations and analytics in an outsourced capacity for a not-profit, eight hospital system with $221M in annual supply spend. Kerry started her healthcare career working for Tenet Healthcare's Resource Materiel Management Department where she supported the capital equipment and laboratory areas, as well as the BuyPower group purchasing program.

Kerry enjoys volunteering with animal rescue groups and working with Hire Heroes USA, a nonprofit organization that assists US Veterans and their spouses to transition into civilian jobs. She also loves to go to the beach and spend time with her large extended family.

Greg Statt - Vice President, Business Development

Greg has more than 10 years of healthcare experience. He has held sales, marketing and business development positions with several leading medical device and pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining BroadJump, he worked at Stryker, a $10 billion medical technology company. Greg started as a Sales Representative with Stryker before moving into Marketing and Product Management roles where he was responsible for product lifecycle management, product training, marketing programs and sales support. Other career positions include capital medical equipment and pharmaceutical sales roles.
